Grasmere Wind Farm

The $40 million Grasmere extension to the Albany Wind farm is complete. It was built by Verve Energy at the western end of Albany Wind Farm. The six Grasmere wind turbines can produce 14 megawatts of electricity. The whole wind farm now produces 80% of Albany's electricity needs with clean, renewable energy.
